February Kindness Calendar

This past week has been extra challenging for Saline Area Schools and the greater Saline community-at-large. The issue of race and racism is not easy to talk about with our children but it is important for all of us to work together to help even our youngest children understand this difficult topic.
Even at the elementary level, we are not immune to issues around race and racism. Our staff will continue to learn and grow together to be alert to these issues. We look forward to continuing the conversation as a school community to learn more, do more, and be better for all of our students.
In addition, Superintendent Graden is hosting two Community Conversations on Monday, 2/3/20: 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. @ Liberty School and Wednesday, 2/12/20: 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. @ Liberty School. Click HERE for additional information.
PTA Corner
Please turn in any clipped BOXTOP$ you have to your teacher or the office by February 24th so we can submit for the Spring collection. There will be flyers coming home as well to remind everyone to download the Box Tops app; scanning store receipts will be the future of this fundraiser so the sooner we start the easier the transition will be:) Thanks for all you do for our schools!
